Arriving into the world on January 9, 1973, Sean Paul Henriques, would inherit the athletic gene from his parents, both of whom were talented swimmers and grandfather, who competed on the first Jamaican mens national water polo team. Sean Paul swam and later on, played on the national water polo team as a teenager and did so until the age of 21 though when he was approximately 15 years old, music began competing with sports for his attention.
